At short notice and from a standing start we undertook a national media relations campaign to support BSCol’s European launch and Annual Summit, which was held in London. Within a very tight timescale we got a handle on their consultancy techniques and business, prepared press briefing papers and researched and targeted the right management journalists to whom to pitch this opportunity. We arranged interviews with Sunday Business, The Observer and The Daily Telegraphy. Along the way, a number of excellent media contacts were made on which to build for future media relations programmes.

Catalyst
Strategic marketing consultancy

We developed and sold-in feature pieces in the grocery and marketing media on Catalyst’s consultancy work and training courses. This involved media research to identify key editorial contacts at leading publications, detailed briefings with both Catalyst and their high-profile clients (including GNER and ASDA) and preparation of briefing papers that would generate media interest.

We carried out a personal profile-raising campaign for CFS founder Mike Duckett, resulting in by-lined articles in a number of magazines targeting the sales sector, as well as news and interview coverage on local radio.

We carried out a media relations programme focusing on establishing and building a profile for the firm within the local business community. A sustained flow of press releases commenting on relevant and topical business issues not only raised awareness of Darbys but generated enquiries that resulted in new clients.
