Sarah Walton - Consultant and Copy Writer

Sarah established Write Angle PR in 2000 and is a senior PR/communications professional with over 20 years’ consultancy and client-side experience in the business-to-business/corporate sector. 

She specialises in advising firms in the professional services sector and has particular expertise in media relations.  As a former National PR Manager for Grant Thornton – currently ranked fifth largest accountancy firm in the UK (Accountancy Age) – she was responsible both for the firm’s national media profile, working with its senior management, and for media relations across its (then) 48 offices. 

As a consultant, she has also advised several national and regional accountancy firms, as well as a range of other professional firms and consultancy businesses, including lawyers and environmental, management and marketing consultants.  During her agency career, she rose to Associate Director with a UK top 20 PR consultancy, and was responsible for award-winning campaigns for professional services clients.

Sarah's key skills include marketing and communications strategy development, campaign planning and implementation, crisis planning/management, media relations and copy writing.  She holds the Diploma of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and an Honours Degree in business studies.

Harvey Thomas - Media Trainer 

Harvey was Margaret Thatcher’s Director of Communications for the duration of her premiership, during which time he was responsible for training her and senior cabinet members both for media and presentation appearances including PMQs.  He is a regular international broadcaster in his own right, including the Today Programme (Thought for the Day) and The Moral Maze on BBC Radio 4.

He is much in demand as a media trainer, having trained political leaders in many of the world’s most significant democracies.  He has also delivered one-to-one training on behalf of the FCO for British senior ambassadors as well as many overseas diplomats. 

He provides media and communication advice to international organisations in the Middle and Far East including the Hong Kong Stock Exchange and the Jeddah Economic Forum; in the UK, he has trained many companies under the Passport to Export Programme, as well as leading City firms such as Hepher Dixon.
